Day 7 of Zakka Handmades Blog Tour - nanaCompany

Cookies and Milk Snack Mat created by me

Hello everyone! I am so happy that my blog tour is going so well! Thanks so much to all of you who are following along with us! We're in week 3, or Day 7, of Zakka Handmades Blog Tour, and our stop for today is Amy of nanaCompany

Amy lives a busy life here in Los Angeles (yes, we're neighbors!) with her awesome husband and her four children (including the sweetest baby girl who is only a few months old)!  If you have visited her blog before, you know how lovely and delicate her creations are... Amy's style is vintage and modern, girly and clean, and everything in between. Go check out her blog to see the zakka she has created for this blog hop, and yes, to enter the giveaway to win a copy of my book!

My book: Zakka Handmades

The above is Amy's original embroidery pattern, "Be Joyful and Give Thanks" that you can find in her etsy shop.  Her stitchery is breathtakingly beautiful...

This one is my favorite: Amy's cutest Cookies and Milk Snack Mat. You can find the step-by-step tutorial on her blog here

And I just had to try Amy's Cookies and Milk Snack Mat myself!  Below images are my version of the Cookies and Milk Snack Mat.

Instead of stitching the words "cookies" and "milk", I took short cut and used alphabet stamps...

I also stamped my tea pot and a mug cup eraser stamps to go along with the big cookie and a glass of milk on the placemat!

It's so fun to create an original handmade fabric label using my hand carved eraser stamps and scraps of linen and polka dot print!
